Questions
Just a couple of questions. I pulled the air compressor out of it's little hole in the trunk and found this. I am hoping this is my manual convertible top release tool.

My other question pertains to the hole on the other side of the trunk. Is there suppose to be something important in there that I am missing?

Not sure about the tool you show. It appears to be some kind of spanner wrench.
The compartment in the bottom of the truck area was designed to fit a Mercedes Benz First Aid Kit. They were not included with the Chrysler models.

In North America we do not get them, probably because someone might be sued if the bandages or whatever fail to save someones life. You would also be sued if you failed to stop them bleeding to death from a severed artery in some areas, you would have to at least try.
I have a UK kit for my car and the kit is stored against the rear wall of the trunk, it's not much use when it is stored under the mat with the trunk full of whatever fits in there.
Attached is a picture of the stowed kit .
Tool looks like a spanner to adjust the recoil on adjustable struts

Hmmm, when these cars were new where were the multifunction tool stored? I have read here to look in the trunk or the glove box. It's not in the glove box so I am wondering where in the trunk, where the compressor or where the jack was stored? It's not there either so I am curious if it might have a dedicated spot that I am just not seeing, I would hate to buy one and then find the original in a spot that I may have over looked. Thanks guys, I off to a show.

It has been found all over the place, it is like an Easter egg hunt.

I bought my SRT roadster used 2005 That looks like the compartment that the car cover that was supposed to come with the car would fit In my owners manual there is a picture of the tool that you're talking about I found mine just laying in the trunk under the mat
I have a car cover and it would not fit in that pocket in the trunk.
I have the original window sticker from when the car was first bought, And from other threads on this forum it's my understanding that not only a car cover which is listed on my window sticker but a set of luggage design for the SRT six was supposed to come with it as well. Sorry if the information I have is incorrect But the car cover I'm sure about because it's listed on my sticker luggage from other threads on this forum has led me to eBay where it's considered somewhat of a collectors item to have the original luggage
Check this link out.. You might be pleasantly surprised..

I have never heard of the cover, you are the first. Scan the sticker and post it here, I have a SRT6 and the window sticker and I see no mention of a cover.
Now don't upset forum members by scarfing up 3 sets and heading over to Ebay to turn a profit from the information that was given to you...
That's not the way I roll thanks again really appreciate it!
Glad to hear it.. (it's been done before)..Enjoy the luggage!
I scarfed up the roller on Ebay myself.. got a low price.. and if I need more than that.. well the wife can UPS her stuff wherever.. LOL.
