I have been a subscriber to the now defunct magazine "Autoweek" for a long, long time. What a great magazine it was! It has now ceased publication and the subscribers have been picked up by "Road and Track" and "Car and Driver" magazines. There is NO comparison. Car and Driver should be called SUV and Driver and Road and Track in NO WAY compares to "Autoweek" in event coverage or driver profile's. R&T and C&D are truely a great waste of ink and paper, in my opinion. I think that the only thing that keeps both of those magazine's afloat is the multi-page advertising by the rubber floor mat company that takes 5 and 6 page ads. These two are right up there with "Motortrend" which should also be called "SUVtrend". If your looking for a magazine similar to "Autoweek" and that has event, competition type vehicles, driver profiles, and general good sport vehicle coverage, don't waste your money on C&D and R&T. Just my opinion. Hope I've saved you some money.
