Question I have a question about my leather seats?

Does any body out there know what I can do to repair the leather seat on the driver side. The person who had the car before me must of had keys or something that scratched the leather. I really don't want to buy a whole new seat. I just want to repair the scratches. Any suggestions.

Thank you,
Sally Schrauder

If they are deep scratches then I'm not too sure...If they are just surface scratches then a good leather conditioner should do the job!

You actually need to talk to Andrew! I KNOW he'd know how to remedy the situation!

When I worked at a BMW dealer, we used to have a guy come in that would mix a special type of paint/filler to go over the cracks or tears on the leather. It worked pretty well as long as the damage wasn't that bad. If you are talking about the side bolster being pretty beat up you would probably be better off just recovering the seat.

Look for local leather repair shop like Dr. Leather. They will fix your problem.

Reupholstering is really not that expensive, you may want to just take it to a local upholstery shop. It should cost more than $300 for just the one affected area...

good luck.
