HAHA-- How ironic look how you spelled grammar. If your going to mock someones grammer, or should I say grammar it might be a good idea to correct your own.

And these flames are out of line

As to the question at hand - I find the fixed sun visors rather odd indeed but then again I have a roadster and the top is almost always down so swinging them out would seem odd anyway. I can live with it, even though it is strange. As for an autodimming rearview mirror, I couldn't care less. I'm honestly not put out by having to reach up a little bit to flip a lever every so often. Hell, if I'm fine picking my own gears when I want them I can sure as hell select which setting I want on my mirror.
I think sometimes we're getting too damn coddled with conveniences in cars. Automatic headlights for instance. Seriously, do people really need their car to turn the headlights on when it starts to get dark? Or do they just like it when the dumb a$$ car turns them on and off every time you go under an overpass when it's cloudy out? I rented a car once that did that and I've seen many others exhibit that "feature". Of course, you can disable the automatic headlights, but then that's sort of like ....... well....... turning your headlights on and off manually!!!!!

. Just think of the energy you save by not having to flip your switch to dim your mirror or turn on your headlights!
What I do like about the lights on the Crossfire, however, is when I pull into the garage after dark and shut them off. When I exit the car and close the door, the headlights come back on for several seconds and very nicely supplement the lighting from the garage door opener. Now that's actually useful.
As I've said in the past, The biggest problem that I've found with the automatic mirror in my 04, is that it makes it real hard to tell if the cars behind me have any lights on their roof.
After dark, I can never tell who or what is following me.

I had a Caddillac STS for a few years which have the eletro dimmin rear view mirrorand side mirrors. I loved it. Not only do I feel that the electro diming actually works better than he leverl activated dimmers but having the side mirrors dim too was great. With so many SUV's on the road and a low car you get a lot of headlight reflections in these mirrors. I wish I had the auto dimmer and I didn't know it was included on the 04's. Has anyone successfully transplanted one into an 05?

It is after all, a small sports car. Some of the design is a compromise to size and safety concerns, not just budget matters. Besides, anything close, say a 320 SLK of the same vintage stickered for $20K more and wasn't that much better.
Every vehicle design is a compromise. Whether it is a sailboat, a waterski, or a houseboat it is hard to get some of the good items of one into the shape and size of another. As compromises go, I have yet to see a package that sums up to the car you are driving.
Have you ever found one? In this price range? How about twice the price of a Crossfire?
Sorry to rag you but if I could have afforded it, I would have paid sticker ($40K) for my compromised Crossfire over the $ 60K Benz I wanted. I never considered any of those compromises "cheap."

I used to wonder about the visor thing too. Take a closer look, if the visors swiveled they really wouldn't block any more sun because of how the roof curves down to the window.
Auto-dimming mirrors all around and automatic headlights should have been standard for the price the Crossfire originally sold for!
