Default My first Mods

Ok, I know..... I am a newbe....... but I am still excited about doing my first couple of mods. I did the plezo buzzer for the door locks, and installed the capacitors in the door panels for the speaker mod. I am loving the results of both. This has to be the best forum around for having so many knowledgeable people with such diverse areas of expertise. I started small, but I do plan to tackle other mods soon, to include: lowering springs, 19/20 in wheel package, ceramic breaks, intake, pulley, tune, tinted headlight/taillight lenses, HID headlights, led interior lights, etc.. I am just trying to catch my breath a little after my initial outlay from the car purchase. By the way, my new baby is a black SRT roadster.... 22K on the odo. Thanks to all the great posts in this forum, I have all of the needed resources at my disposal when I go to tackle the future mods. Thanks.... thanks.... thanks!

Congrats on the car. You probably picked up one of the nicer models just as she sits, so don't go get 'er all too gangstered up. And be sure to hang on to the original parts.

Welcome and enjoy!

Thanks Dwight, I plan to keep this car and pass it down to one of my sons someday.... so, I plan to keep her to where I can return her to original some day. And gangsta is definitely not the direction that I want to go with it. My style is more subtle sleek.

As a side note, I am getting ready to turn 49, and I have a 3 year old son, and a 2 month old son. I know... I know.... what was I thinking!!!! Seriously, I love being a dad. But, my point is.... I have quite a few years before I have to think about passing my baby on to one of my sons.

About the car ... or the kids?

Seriously, cars come and go, but an old man cherishes the kids. Enjoy all three. Don't let the kids get all gangstered up, either.
