Is it possible for the water to be coming in around the rear lights? It could just trickle across the trunk floor (boot?) and then go into the pocket in the foam tray.
Another possibility would be a leak from the wheel well as that is adjacent to the pocket directly.

I had water in my trunk once during a very hard rain. Fixed under warrenty. Dealership replaced the O-rings under the SRT-6 wing. Hasn't ever leaked again. Squirrel Crusher

Hi guys. I just had à carwash and realised my boot is also just a little bit wet. Not close to the rear lights but to inner wall close to seats. Not much but just a bit of moisture. Any clues how to prevent it from getting worse!?

I don't have a coupe, so I will make suggestions that are very general.
  1. Very carefully inspect the main rubber gasket. Either for a flattened area or actual damage. A cut or puncture.
  2. There are drain ducts under the wing. Make sure they are clean. I believe that they start in the oval "cups" where the hinges are anchored. The exit of these are the round rubber holes under the lip by the release catch. Compressed aire to blow them out (careful!) might work well.
  3. I hope not, but maybe (worst-case scenario) a leak around the glass. I really doubt this would be it-I think you would be the first.
Happy hunting, and let us know what, if anything, you find?

Thanks Maxcichon for the answers. I tried blowing those drain ducts under the wing. They sounded clean. I just blew from underneath (the exit holes) while holding my thumb on the drain ducts. No dirt or other particles found. I will check window and thr rubber gasket, the rubber gasket looked okay though... will try again. I went to the dealer today to get the repair kits for the seat heater. That will be my weekend project. wish me luck!

If you have a leak and you cannot find it, spray a small area of the car with the hose and check frequently to see if any water has appeared seems simple and logical to me.
Basically recreate the situation in a controlled manner.
