Center Console Top Vent Molding Rattle
The center console top vent molding is rattling and I have attempted to remove by prying under the molding but stopped due to fear of breaking. Can anyone tell me how to either tighten this section of the console without removing it or offer any other suggestions.

I think there are 2 screws on the bottom side holding it in if im not mistaken.. You would have to take the lower trim off to get to them
Yep gotta take the middle piece off first. If you search for console disassembly instructions you should find them quick. If I remember correctly you got to take the radio out, then unscrew the middle trim (screws above radio) then you will see the ones for the top vent. Without removing, not to sure. Could just try to push around the edges and shift it up/down might find a position it sits in better

I've developed a slight rattle on my vent as well... left side is loose, right side is secure. After I tear the dash apart, I will use a grade-8 bolt with Loctite Red.
Not mine, that's another thread I think. My dash has never been removed... it's just the A/C vent that has jarred loose over time.
