Default Window tint quote...

I went to a local "custom" shop if you will its like general aftermarket parts store kinda like a jc whittney deal but they install everything you buy unless you request to diy... Anywho i wanted to see what they would charge for tinting my windows the result 140 bucks incuding the tint. Is this a decent price?

If it s a good brand of film with a lifetime guarantee (llumar, madico, etc) that is a great price.

I used to work at a tint shop and paid the owner (old friend) $150 to do mine, but I used a carbon metallic film...

I agree 100%, as long as it's high quality film with a lifetime guarantee. There's a place nearby in Anaheim, CA where I've had several cars tinted over the years. Not the cheapest prices in town but excellent service, a lifetime guarantee against cracking, peeling, shrinking, turning purple, etc. My daily driver was tinted by these guys 7 1/2 years ago and the tint is still perfect.
