My interior lights do not come on when the driver's door is opened. They work just fine with the passenger door.....thought mabe a switch,so in swapped them with no change. Where else can I look?

 

Must be a wire in the circuit, have a look at the wiring diagram in the Repair Manual.

This is what it says on the description of the switch.
"The door ajar switches are actuated by either the door closing against the jamb, or the liftgate latch mechanism
striker plate. When a door or the liftgate is closed and properly latched, its ajar switch is an open circuit. When a
door or the liftgate is only partially latched, its ajar switch is a closed circuit. The ajar switches are connected via a
harness connector to a body ground and the central locking pump/security system module."

 

I have no repair manual...anyone tell me where to get a schematic

You are the man!!!!
Security locking pump ground. That took care of the problem, however those panels with the little plastic fasteners are one pain in the rear end of the car!!! Guess what.. the dealer doesn't have them, had to make do with what I could find.
Now a new problem. My alarm sounds like a sick cat and only goes off for 10 sec. or so before it gives up. Any ideas?
