Default Need Interior Door Pull

The left side door pull on my 2005 Crossfire broke, and the dealer wants close to $300 for this 2-part molded & chromed plastic piece if he can even get it. This is the pull on the door that has a long seam between the 2 parts. The back part has two tubes that go into the door and are held in place by screws. The break occurred where the front tube joins the pull. Not sure if it can even be fixed, but the only other way to pull the door shut is to grab the top of the window--only a short term solution. Any idea on a source for a replacement?

I have the exact same problem. Was a windy day and was pulling my door closed against the wind and crack! it just broke off. The plastic cracked on both ends. I guess I need to do some research since it doesn't seem like there is an answer here. I will not pay $300-$500 to have it replaced by the dealer.

Does anyone have a source for the driver's side door panel or pull handle.

I have been looking for sometime for a reasonable price for a door pull. It seems that I can find a lot of members who have this same problem. Why no solutions?

That photo appears to show the whole door pull but the number is for the front part. For the price you would expect all two parts The main part looks like it has the front part on all ready. There actually looks like two front parts in the picture one front on and one front off, three parts total. I would check before I paid and then only received the front part.
See this post (it has the part numbers in it) and do a Google custom search using that part number.
Edit
I did the Google search and that front cover (
68003474AA) costs $220 plus. The rear part must cost a small fortune. I have spares of both covers.

That is good to hear, others had ordered that part number and got just the front part.

It actually looks pretty good. A shame the cost is so high for cheap plastic that we have to resort to this stuff. But, at least it is a good alternative and permanent.

Here are some awesome covers if you don't like the "screwed" look:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RED-STITCH-FITS-CHRYSLER-CROSSFIRE-2003-2007-2X-DOOR-HANDLE-LEATHER-COVERS-/390773649017?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ACrossfire&hash=item5afbecae79
they offer about 5 colors of stitching.

Surely that cover is just for the pulls with the sharp and rough chrome that is peeling of the door pull?
Edit
I see what you mean now, I'm slow.

Joe: I took the "screwed" look a step farther...covered the screw head with a silver plastic screw cap...looks like a part of the inside scheme..Carl
