Default Peel & Seal for Noise Reduction

I've been doing some research about peel and seal to help reduce road noise and drone on my magnaflow exhaust....has anyone tried this product? I know dynamat is made for this kind of things but I've been reading and reading that this stuff works just as good! I'm going to do my doors, roof, and trunk. I also bought a little fatmat to put in my trunk so maybe it can stop the drone some more.

The traditional Dynamat and similar products are designed more for vibration damping rather than insulating the cabin from outside noise. It sounds like you want is a sound absorber like this ->B-Quiet sound deadening materials - B-Quiet Vcomp

That looks interesting. Let us know if it works.

If you can wait a few years you can get noise reduction for nothing, it's called deafness.

Yeah I just did my Passenger door, I put it on the door and the plastic cover. Have to go to Lowes and get 4 more rolls to do my other door, roof and trunk!

I was reading on the corvette forum that this helps reduce the drone and road noise drastically!

I will sure keep you guys posted though. There is a slight smell of glue for 2 days but now it's all gone.

So you've had 8-9 months with this done - care to keep us posted? I'm thinking about doing some sort of sound deadening and the Peal and Seal is the cheapest option, but has had mixed reviews about longeviety. What are your thoughts?
