Default wet headliner

Had alot of rain this weekend, went outside to move my car and found headliner wet.
Have not had much time today to dig in and look at it today.
Anyone know any problematic areas where leaks occur with car sitting and not moving to get headliner wet?
Possible the grommet where wires from hatch connect to car?

Here are a few pics of the grommet and the channel above door.
Alittle dirt under the trim when I pulled it up, but all looks tight.

In picture two, is that a crack running past (down) the right side of that channel where the rear window starts? To the far right of the channel looks like a crack all along the right side of that channel. Right below that wet dirt.

That Crack is the factory seam between the two panels and it is still sealed up good as I could see.
That channel where the dirt is, is from the trim piece I poped off (which came off alot easier than I thought) was trying to be as careful as I could when I took that seal off, do not know where to find a new one.
As I said when the headliner got wet the car was not moving, just sitting in my driveway. At times rain did come down pretty strong.
Has anyone had problems with the grommet that runs the wires from the hatch back to the car?
Door window seal looks good, but window seal is to low for the water to run in that direction.
Might pull the grommet and all seals and silicone them and put them back on.

Clearly the headliner fabric material will have to be replaced. I would be concerned about the headliner hard backing material would either disintegrate or get moldy, and then you would have a bigger problem and cost in trying to find a replacement. I would remove it as soon as possible and take the fabric off and let it dry in the sun. You can then have someone pour water on that section of the car while you look inside to see exactly where it is coming in.

At first glance it did appear to me as GraphiteGhost said that in picture two that seam appears to have a crack in it. The wire grommet, however, seems like the more likely problem area.

Pulled the bottom out of hatch and it is dry, one of the 1st things I checked.
There is a crack in the channel that is where the two body panels meet and spot welded together the the sealant factory used under the paint is good and not cracked.
I have used a carpet cleaner that has a hand wand to clean stains from furniture and works great on seats and headliners.

You said in another post you hardly ever agree with me, so I will not comment any further. As you obviously do not agree with me I'll remove my only other comment here.
