Starting a new thread since just have one thing left to remove: inside the driver's door and next to the calble release for the lock at the rear of the door there is a wiring harness connector. All of the manuals just say "disconnect the harness" without a clue on HOW.
It seems odd as the wire bundle seems to run over and down. There is a catch but releasing does little since I do not know which way to pull. Surely someone here has disconnected this harness. (see pictures).
Did you have to remove the weather strip to remove the enter panel to get to everything?
I am attending to remove the switch and door lock to replace the tumbler.

I had the door stripped down but suppose for the lock you could just wrap back the plastic and felt. Do you know about the hidden screw to remove the lock ?
