Picked up a Coupe and I am loving it BUT every time I get in the car I see a hand full of little **** ants. I have cleaned everywhere but they are still coming out every morning. I guess I can put some ant powder in the corner but its messy as heck. suggestions please.
When we discovered a trail of ants in our house we tried numerouse methods to get rid of them. What quickly solved the problem was Terro Liquid Ant Baits shown below. That will not make a mess in your car as long as you don't flip them on one end and spill the contents. I'm wondering what attracted them in the first place. If they keep showing up is there a nest? Maybe something sweet was dropped and is under the seats.
If all the above suggestions fail then use a couple of 'bug bombs' inside the interior with windows closed and leave it unopened for awhile (read instructions) and this should solve your problem.
I have had a gaggle of cars and NEVER had a ant issue, when it rains for days we sometimes have a few in the house for some off reason. I did find a few lolipop droppings when i cleaned it but that was a week ago, this is crazy. thanks for the help.

I would stay away from this remedy, the poisons will soak into the carpets and headliner.
We unknowingly eat to much of this ***** as it is. Chemical companies say it’s OK, but they just care about profits not us and the environment.
Move the car and leave the ant trap where the car was, the ants follow a trail to known food sources.

I would use this approach if an ant problem surfaced. We have these ants every once in awhile in our kitchen and when the Orkin Man comes, he puts out ant bait. Looks disgusting as it works because the ants will pile on. But as he explained it, the ants will take the bait back to the colony & feed the queen. Once the queen dies, the colony self-implodes.
I did have an ant problem in the Coupe when we traveled to the very 1st CAA event in St Louis way back. Went out to get in the car one morning and the passenger footwell had quite a few ants. Turns out the wife had stepped in something the day before and whatever it was, the ants sure liked it. Lucky for me, the "sticky stuff" was confined to the mud mat on that side and all I had to do was take the car to a self-service car wash & hose that mat off big time. Ant problem solved.
I think i found the nest when I was pulling the bad amp out to replace. When i flipped the carpet back they started running out so I put down a ant bait and I am letting them drink it up while I wait for the postman to deliver. Odd place for the little bastards!

Glad you found em! Ants like cool moist places to 'nest'. They'll make that nest there and you'll play hell finding exactly where they 'reside'. I once got in a car (was deploying and was offered a ride to the hanger where we all were processing out of) and after sitting in the rear seat for a few, the damn things were all over me. Come to find out they made a nest in the rear floor carpet right under the place where my combat boots were resting. No wonder they were pissed!. Quite a while (while waiting to load the aircraft) to clean them out of my clothes, the mobility bag (on but not IN the bag), and damn, they were RED ANTS! Never accepted a ride again from that person!
Funny, but here in SC with the cars outside in the sun, why do they survive in that EXTREME heat? Our 'slab' doesn't stop them from coming onto and into the P/U and the camaro. Regular spreading of the granuals around the slab (and some onto the slab) keeps them out of the vehicles.
I had never messed with the ant baits but read the instructions and cut off the little area and put it in the footwell. Stuff must be strong because by the time I was pulling the amp out I saw several had stopped moving. Maybe they were napping . . maybe not. Our cars sit outside in the driveway because the garage is only for the Mini Bikes.
