What led to the seat being at the most rear point?
Was it working OK and just happened to be in that position when it quit?

Eureka, I finally was able to power the seat forward to expose the rear track mounting screws. I discovered that the blue connector goes to the forward/back motor. I also determined that the red & brown wires in the main cable coming through the floor to the seat provide the 12v to all the motor switches. AMX1397 (Jim) provided me with another switch and cable assembly. I found the 12v red & brown soldered connections on this assembly and soldered jumper wires to these 2 points. Rather than trying to struggle to find and disconnect the 12v connector under the seat I found the red & brown wires going to the switch panel and cut them. I then wired nutted the jumper wires coming from the new switch panel to the previous cut 12v red & brown wires. I connected the new blue connector to the blue connector coming from the forward/back motor. Moving the the switch to the forward position instantly energized the motor and moved the seat forward. The 2 rear fasteners were removed along with removing the seat from the car.
Thank all for your support and ideas in helping me solve this problem. This solution is much easier than trying to mechanically disassemble components in very tight quarters.
Jack
