Blower fan runs when car is off
So went to drive my 05 coupe SRT, battery dead, charged for several hours and ran fine. 14 volts on the gauge, had the car parked and realized the blower fan was running, the car was off, turned the blower speed several time no change. Then started the car and kept turning the speed ****, finally the blower turned off. Any ideas, maybe corrosion, what fuse would you pull to keep it off when parked for several days?

This is usually caused by teh "blower motor resistor", an easy to change part. It can be the climate control module, but usually is the 'resistor'.
Search for "2003 SLK320 blower motor resistor" or "Chrysler Crossfire blower motor resistor" and do not pay over $30 plus shipping for it. It is VERY easy to change, there are threads here on the procedure and there are youtube videos as well.
Fuse 34 or 36 (depends on year and trim level) will remove battery power from the blower.

OK so I have the panel off and trying to unplug the power. I feel tabs on the sides that I think push in but cannot get the plug out, any info on that? I have tried needle nose pliers but no luck.
Well I gave the plug a good jerk and got the plug out, that does turn off the fan, so I can use the car until the resistor gets here it is held in with two torx 20 screws. I should get the new part the first of the week.
Will update then.
