Minnesota X-fires
I just wanted, like the others, to say that Tuna put together a really great get together and route. Stacy and I had a really fun time, and it was really nice that all the girls came too. It was great seeing the guys I'd met before and cool to meet the ones I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting before this. I'd like to do this again in the fall if at all possible. Again, thanks so much Chris, it was really a good one! mark
It was great to meet so many fellow Crossfire people. Winston's suggestion of Waconia sounds good. The last couple of times we've done something like this it's been on the east side of the cities and it's time us "east siders" give the west side folks a bit of a break.

OK Folks, it's time to start thinking about a get together for the fall. What do you say Lola's in Waconia on a Sunday before some of us pack the Crossfires away for the winter. October 9th is a noon game for the Vikings. Get there at noon, bs in the parking lot for a half an hour, then sit on the deck and have a little lunch, and listen to the Vikes (hopefully) win. Of course other dates are available - but let's get there before the winter winds blow!
If anyone is looking for a Crossfire I've decided my will have to go. I need garage space for a project and either the Crossfire or the DeLorean would have to go. I've had the DeLorean for 30 years and it's history means it's staying. The Crossfire Limited coupe is an automatic, black, 35,000 miles with near new Yokohamma Advan S4 tires and a new Optima 1000 cc amp battery and always used Mobil 1 0w40 oil. I installed HID headlights. They were one of the better kits, not the $59 ebay kits. The foglights have been replaced with the upgraded units. It was a southern car and has never been out of the garage in the winter. It has both the original engine cover as well as a Mercedes cover with K&N filters. I''m looking for $11,900.

Hi Folks, Just a reminder about the get together at Lola's in Waconia on Sunday Oct. 9th. Who all is thinking of being there. Please add to this forum if you think you can make it. My wife and I are going to be there at 11:30. We'll visit and have lunch and maybe watch the Vikings game til about 2pm, then we're heading out to a little orchard in Watertown. If any of you know Terri Traen from the KQRS morning show, she and her husband have the orchard there. They are just getting started with their farm and they might even give out free apples to the Crossfire folks! If you can't follow us to the orchard, it will still be great to see everyone before we put the Crossfires to bed for the winter. Please tell us if you'll be there on Sunday.
I'll be at Lola's on Sunday but most likely without my Crossfire. I haven't had time to diagnose the no-start issue so I'll be there with my truck. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Sorry guys, I know it's last minute but I'm going to have to bail on the get-together today. This is one of the few days I actually have had time to try to fix my Crossfire and I want to move full-steam ahead with that.
No problem Alex, Nate and Stephanie and my wife and I were out at Lola's and had a great time. Then we went to Terri Traens place and Nate and Stephanie took the gator out and about around the winery and orchard. They were still at it when May and I had to leave! The weather was perfect. I hope you get your car squared away - we'll catch you the next time. And the Vikings win! What a great day!
