I'm just across the St. Croix in Houlton WI. Maybe in the spring we'll try to have another get-together at the Freight House parking lot in Stillwater. Welcome to the group.

I know where that is, a co worker/buddy lives in Houlton right up the hill there and my mother was an antique dealer at the Mill Antiques for several several years.

This spring I broke my leg and tore my knee up so today I was at St. Croix Orthopaedics in Stillwater and had to have some x-rays taken. The radiology staff seemed terribly nice and then after my appointment I was standing at the counter waiting to see when my surgery would be happening when the guy who took my x-rays walked by. We started chatting a bit and I started to tell him that my having to have a bionic knee put in reminded my that last week I had to have my transmission rebuilt in my Crossfire and this would be sort of the same kind of deal, only it would be my body that would be getting new parts. But… I never got past the word “Crossfire” as his eyes widened and he repeated “Crossfire? I have one too.” Not quite at my sharpest I had to ask, “have what?”. Sure enough he has an ’04 Crossfire Coupe. What are the chances eh?

I invited him to join in with our little group and maybe he can make a get-together in the spring. I do hope he jumps in here.

Sheldon

Hello to all the other Gophers and Badgers here. I just picked up my '06 Alabaster LTD coupe in mid December, and have been enjoying it immensely. Handles much better than I expected in the snow and slop we've been having over the past month. I'm here in Apple Valley. Mark

Thanks guys, I'll look forward to meeting up with y'all in the Spring too. I bought mine at Barnett. They had a few. This one had been there awhile, white with black and we worked out a reasonable trade on my 98 Eldorado which only had 80K on it. This one had been only put in service in March 2007 and only had 10,000 on the clock. So I've been very happy with it so far. Mark

By the way, how many Crossfires do you think are here in Minnesota and western Wisconsin? I saw one in Jordan back in early September or so, which actaully was the beginning of the Crossfire bug for me, outside of the original offering. That one was an Aero Blue.

Other than that I don't think I can recall seeing one running around.

There are a couple in MN. I know I have seen one down in Savage, I drive one (Edina), I have seen several of the yellow convertables. I also know that the Chrysler dealer in Bloomington has at least 6 for sale!

Fury Motors in SSP had 2, a used black base, and a SSB 2008. Barnett, where I bought mine had a yellow convert, an aero blue, and maybe 2 black ones, a convert and a coupe. That's probably more on the lots than are in garages here in MN. LOL!

I think Fury has had those XF's in stock for at least two years - along with a few Dodge Vipers and other cars they can't sell due to the economy.

Besides the forum members on here, I've probably seen about 10 different XF's in the last 4 years.

But they are rare, much more rare than the Audi TT, 350Z, and Honda S2000 which I see very often (relatively speaking.)

I'll have one in Grant city (aka Township) in about 24 hours.
Found a black, 2007 Limited coupe with manual trans. in WI.
Here's a funny aside... I've been planning this purchase since the late summer. I've been looking for them on the road, to no avail. Then, two days after ordering one (Jan 19th), I found the exact car parked next to me in White Bear Lake, MN. Outside of White Bear Optical. I looked at this as a good omen. It had an Air force decal on the window. I looked in the nearest shops, and concluded the owner was at the dentist. I went off to get gas and a wash, but he/she was gone when I returned. My main concern at the moment, is that I haven't told my wife I was buying this. I plan to park it in the garage, and go off to tennis. Monday night will be exciting, to say the least. I should be out of traction by Spring, when I hope to be able to drive it.

I live in Forest Lake and have a 2006 Black LTD coupe. It's in the garage until spring. I saw a blue roadster running around Forest Lake late last summer so they're around. Barnett had several on their lot last fall.

Got my wife spotting Crossfire's now. That's a good thing. She was traveling south on 35E leaving work in St. Paul and saw a black Cross at about 5:15p or so. Anybody here? Mark

Hi Folks, I bought my 2007 Black Base Coupe in October of 2008. It's brand new, and it has the full warranty. I love it. It's good to see that there are others who have had their Crossfires for a while longer than me. I'd be interested in finding the best service departments in the Twin City area. I live in Plymouth and work in St. Louis Park. If anyone is planning a get together this summer, please let me know. It looks as though you've done some things in the past. Hope to hear from you soon.

Sounds good - let's get together this summer. My wife will bring her camcorder and put together a video that she will upload to utube. She's good at this - she does alot of that kind of thing for her work. Minnesota/Wisconsin Crossfire Owners UNITE!!

Hi all,

I am a new Crossfire Owner from Lakeville. Picked up an 04 Alabaster NA. Really enjoy the car. I will be driving it through the winter, but I work out of my house so it's not a daily driver. Glad to see there are several people from Minnesota on the Forum (which is great!)

Hey Jerry, and welcome. I live in Apple Valley, by Diamond Path and Cty 42. So we'll probably be seeing two twins in the south metro area. Mine's an 06 Ltd white coupe. i'm assuming yours is a coupe too, or is it a roadster? Mine's a daily driver and I have had a great time with it so far. Mark
