Chicago Land Dealers
Anyone have any good or bad experiences to share, or a dealer you think is very competent?
I haven't had to take my car back for anything yet, but do not want to wait until something goes wrong to search for a good dealership.
I bought mine at Marcari's Chrysler in Desplains, now Advantage Chrysler. From a service perspective I have nothing to share, only that they seem nice, and have an XF tech on staff.

My suggestion is Roanoke Motors (romocoinc.com) in Roanoke, Il. They are just northeast of Peoria. You will find no finer dealer anywhere for sales or service. When you go to their web site, the picture with all the Vipers is not made up. They are a top seller and service for them, and all Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeeps. (I hate leaving out Plymouth).
Although I live in South Bend, IN, I had bought 2 different Vipers and my current SRT-6 from them. It's worth the travel time. Great knowledgeable mechanics and parts people, great sales people. A true five star dealer. After breaking a v-10 in Texas and trailering it to them (stayed open way past closing Saturday to receive me) (oh that's a story), after the insurance company ok'd the replacement (Monday) (comprehensive, I told you it's a good story), I had my Viper back the next weekend, good as new (new motor and computer that is, oh what a story).

FP, I bought my Crossfire SRT-6 at Bill Kay's Chrysler in Downer's Grove and had them service my vehicle for a couple issues. Great guys all around down there from the sales team to the service team. Unfortunately, Bill Kay's is very far from where I live (Prospect Heights), so I just recently took my SRT-6 to Advantage Chrysler to have them service two things that Bill Kay's didn't have time to repair. While this is my first time bringing my SRT-6 to Advantage, I did have them service my Neon SRT-4 in the past (which I had bought from Sherman Dodge in Skokie) when they were Mancari's and was pleased with their work. The service team has remained the same during the dealership owner change, so I imagine they'll take care of my SRT-6. I'll let you know my feelings towards them when I get my car back on Tuesday.
