Scott,

I'm up for the runs you have plotted. I have not been up to RMNP for a while. How does the 20th of August look for you?

Chris

20th it is, weather check of course. Either route works, but the shorter route is good, we could stop for a lunch along the way and maybe a pit stop for a beer if anything looks good.

The shorter route is good and I agree on the weather check beforehand. I have it marked on the calendar. Did you have a meet/start point in mind in Boulder? I'm coming up from Castle Rock.

We are scheduled for a quick run on August 20th, providing the weather is decent. Meeting in Boulder at 9 AM. Run up to Estes Park and then to Winter Park, home via the route of your choice. Anyone else interested?

I know this is a super old post, and wanted to see if anybody on this post was still active or whether they have moved to the other crossfire forum, or what their status is. I'm a colorado crossfire owner, just in the SW corner of the state. Would love to have some other cars to hook up with. drop a line.

Hey BC, yep still here I have it in a subscribed thread. Maybe later in the year we can hook up. I'm still looking at September in Aspen for the leaf change. I realize that is a long time away but I am planning a five week trip in in June and July with the fifth wheel, the crossfire will have to stay home. Winter is just too long here. Planning on Breckridge this weekend for the snow carving festival but ptobably will drive the Dodge Ram.

Good to know. Sometimes hate being in a crossfire starved state. lol Let me know if you are on this side of the mountain anytime soon, even if you dont bring the crossfire. Can't wait for warmer weather.

I live in Litleton. I've seen 2 SRTs and 2 other lmtds. My wife has her black lmtd and drives it every day, except for snow days. Our AWD pacifica is used for those days.

There is an auto show in Denver the end of March but I think that is Spring Break for me and I may be up in Montanna with the new grandbaby. If not it might be fun to meet for lunch if the weather is nice. Maybe plan it out with who ever can make it.

The end of march sounds like a good idea for me, if not the start of April would work well. Keep us in the loop. A bit of a long drive from this end of the world but its worth it.

We will stay connected. I've been talking to a friend about Taos or Salida. Hwy 50 is a fun road to drive, I used to drive it all the time when I traveled to Montrose and Grand Jct. By the way the Breckenridge trip was fun, I think I may have to figure a way to drive over Hoosier in the Crossfire when the weather gets better. Maybe a Sunday morning breakfast run. We had the car out Sunday with the top down, What a blast!
Lets stay connected!!!

I wish I could make the arizona run. dang. We are so busy here in the hotel that I just can't get the time off. Sometimes I hate being a manager. It would be around a 10 hour drive for me, sometimes less, just depends on the road conditions and officers. lol Let me know if you have the chance to come up in the summer, lots of great drives here. Not to mention every other friday in the summer is race track night.

I figured it would be a long drive. Plus the snow this year has been incredible. we definitely have to get multi-state hook-ups going.
Scott has joined us in the past. I will let you know. I will let you know
about this summer.
