Any other Iowa (or nearby) Crossfire owners interested in a get-together sometime? I see all the pics of other states with several Crossfires meeting and driving around together and would like to get in on the fun.

I live near Green Bay now but I get home often, where in Iowa are you from?

Any Iowa/Nebraska forum guys out there who live near Omaha...I'm looking at a car "private sale" and need to know if anyone can recommend a good/reliable mechanic I can take the car to for a "look over". I'm not from the area and need some help looking at the car. I won't be able to do this until the end of the month/1st week in July...any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Before you make the decision on that car, just wanted to let you know I am about to put mine on the market. 2004 crossfire coupe, 23k miles, auto/stick shift, dark metallic gray, dark gray leather interior, black and gray wood grain dash kit, illuminated door sills, $2,000 in interior led lighting controlled by the stereo that changes up to 2 million different programmable colors, eibach springs, both winter and summer tires, chrome wheels, chrome grille, chrome side gills, chrome windshield surround. incredible condition. turns heads everywhere I go, and the lights are incredible. Still under warranty until sometime in August for bumper to bumper, then the 7 yr 70k powertrain kicks in.

Reason I am selling is that I just bought a house and cannot afford both.

Letting car go simply for what I owe on it-with all the extras included for $23,000.

I will say I have had a great urge to pull over every crossfire I see and hand them my card. I think I might even get a hold of my friend at the DMV and get the names to all of the IOwa crossfires myself. THough that would be frowned upon, I see them in Des Moines on almost a daily basis. Even a hot blond that had a white one just like mine. THough I have the limited interior and hers didn't. I wouldn't hold that against her. All in fun. If anyone knows of or hears of somewhere I can get a work book or assembly manual for one, I would buy it quick. I grew up working on cars so I like to know what it has and what is going wrong with it. Talk to you guys/gals soon- Randy

 

Enjoy your crossfire, I did while I had mine. Unfortunately I sold it over a year ago and I now have a chrysler 300c.
