Default new looking to buy

Hello,
My names Dan and I live in Detroit. Im looking to buy a coupe 6-speed manual crossfire on the cheap. Looking for a fun summer, autox, track car.

I have been browsing the forum for awhile now looking for info on tracking the car and have noticed it wasn't as popular as i thought it might be. However I used to race SpecNeon and now im looking for a rear wheel car to have some fun with. Sticking with chrysler would be fun. I have read over and over again, dont bother starting with a crossfire... just get a miata, but wheres the fun in that, right! Some springs and koni's and i should be okay. thats all the neon's had! Ive considered the srt6 but i think i would rather have the manual and worry about becoming a better driver than just stomping on the gas pedal and holding on.

So if anyone has any tips, tricks or insight, please share! Thanks
