Bad Karma Continues
As some of you may recall I experienced a run of bad karma on my 08 Roadster to the point I stopped driving it. Then I started taking it to the office on nice days as I missed driving it. Well the cloud over me with this car hasn't left. On the highway I take to work they are working on one of the overpasses I go under. A fine mist blew off there the other day and it may have been white paint. The windshield and front of car is covered with specks the size of a pin head. The car goes into the detail shop first of the week, I am holding my breath until I find out if it can be cleaned!! I am seriously considering getting rid of the car. I love it but the stress of driving it is killing me!! There is an 05 SRT Roadster for sale in Quebec that I may buy and get rid of my 08 Limited Roadster as I think it is cursed!!
As someone who has, personally, had a hard time getting paint to adhere to various surfaces, I would say that paint flying thru the air and landing on the car may not bond very well.
AND if you have the car waxed rather well, I believe the chances of good bonding are even less.
I'd run to the store and get a ClayBar kit and see what results I get.
