When all else fails, take it to the Dodge and/or Chrysler dealer. I have found them to be both knowledgeable and helpful.. seriously!

Actually I was sent a free set of TMPS to test out.. they are also willing to re-imburse me for the dealer to set them with the DRBIII .. I'm going to see if they will flip the screen a time or two and see what's up with mine. On the way home from work I was wondering do I really want to "fix" it.. LOL.

I may have to go to the dealer as suggested.

Where are you located? Maybe we could work something out on the wheel speed sensors .. I replaced mine with a "known" good set.. and it wasn't the problem for me. Has been then answer for quite a few here. And If you know which end of a wrench to hold.. they are not too bad to install.. biggest part of the job is taking each wheel off and then back on then test then move to the next one.. LOL.

Just a thought.

That would be great. I live in Kennesaw Ga. I have been restoring cars all my life so I am sure I can figure out how to get it done. Let me know what you want for them and lets do it.
Is it true that with the BAS ESP light on the car is just more of a driver car meaning that I could power slide the car and lock up the brakes etc. Does it take any torque away? If I still have all my power and can now kick it sideways spin the tires and lock up the brakes then maybe I should leave it alone

Yep it's true.. the only "stop" now is the 4500 rpm face plant if your not doing around 10 mph or so.. That's why after wheel sensors it hasn't been that big of a concern.. LOL. How's somewhere in the neighborhood of $75 sound for the 4 ? They run about that each.. If my spoiler worked "normal"... it would be left as is..

Ok then you have a deal. You can call me at 678-736-0163 and we can arrange it. By the way my spoiler is not affected. Seems nothing is but the light being on.

Before we do this.. I was thinking your ABS was lit too.. reading back through the thread though you only questioned replacing the ABS / ESP module. Does your ABS still work? Pedal pulsing to keep from lockup? If so then wheel speed sensors are still good. Which would probably throw you over to clock steering spring sensor or yaw rate sensor..
Just want to clarify before you spend money and time for nothing..

The light is on the right and is BAS/ESP no ABS light at all. I understand the BAS/ESP these are the Brake Assist System and the Electronic Stability Program.
And ABS is Anti Lock Brake System. I only have the BAS/ESP lit and no other problems. I have not done a emergency stop test yet so don't know if I get the pulse or not but I will try that test soon if I need to.

And wheel speed input is needed for Anti lock braking .. So that is why I have to question "does the abs work"..

By all rights it shouldn't.. as it is reading wheel speed and applying pressure relief to keep them from locking up.. Basically you could do about 30-40 mph and jamb on the brakes.. pedal will "pulse" with abs working.. no tires should lock up.

Ok just got back. I did several slam the brakes at 40 and 30 no pulsing at all! Tires just grabbed the pavement and thumped a bit trying to skid. So that means it may be or is the wheel speed sensor?

If it is the sensors should I go ahead and replace all of them or just one at a time then check the light to see if still on?

I have read and seen videos on you tube where guys make switches to cut off the ESP and BAS. In the video he gets the same light I have after he throws the 2 switches.
He does this for racing. I like the way the car stops now and never liked the anti lock brakes much for sudden low speed stops because they will let up brake pressure and let you hit someones bumper. In addition I have always turned off the ESP in my Challenger as it seems I have more power and can do burn outs.
So I want to buy the sensors in case I want to change them out but is there any harm leaving it like it is?

"Thumped" a bit? Okay in a nutshell .. can you slam the brakes and skid the tires..? If not then speed sensors are working at the wheels..

Or you need new brakes..

Like I say.. just don't want to send you down an un needed path here if we can eliminate the possibility of your sensors still working fine.

The thumping was the tires trying to slide but grabbing like wheel hop on acceleration. I have abs in my 96 GMC pickup and it acts totally different when you slam the brakes before the skid the brakes pulse and then let up so you dont skid and there is always that weird zuuuhhh sound when that happens. The Crossfire just stops no pulse or let up but these tires wont skid smooth on the rough asphalt in my neighborhood they grab well. I am sure the ABS is not working. It would be real easy to tell on water huh?

Oh.. on the "harm leaving as is?" Mines been this way for two years now.. If I threw it hard enough into a corner to loose it.. or wasn't careful enough myself on rain and or snow.. I might wish I had it working.. None of my other cars had this feature.. and still have all the fenders intact.. LOL. Actually a pain in the vette.. turn it off every time I start the car.

That's what I was thinking. Why do some people talk about their spoiler opening up? What does that have to do with this? Does the speed sensor think the car is going 65MPH?
