Default New Member, Alicia's daughter

Hello All,
I am Alicia's daughter Kathy and I now have her 2008 Crossfire Roadster. She and I went to the Tail of the Dragon in Oct 2012 and I met some of you. My mom passed away in Oct after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. I am currently living in Auburn, AL, but am moving back to Florida this weekend, to begin a new job in Daytona Beach.

Hi Kathy, sorry to hear about your mom.
I was there in Oct 2012, but don't recall meeting you.
Best of luck with the new job !
Too bad you are moving away, we have a great local group ( 3 of us, myself in Lineville, maxcichon in Auburn and zip439 in Dothan )

Hello Kathy and welcome

I host the fall Dragon event and I remember you and your mother very well
I'm so sorry that she has passed away I'm happy to have had a chance to meet her
I am glad that you thought to come back here and join our forum and take possession of her beautiful roadster and continue what she always loved
Best of luck with your move to Florida and your new job but always remember you're welcome to come to all of our Crossfire meets wherever they are
There are very many active members here that live in Florida I'm sure they would love to have you join them when they get together

Gary

Kathy,

It is with a very heavy heart that I mark the passing of your Mom. She was truly a wonderful person and I, for one, will not forget her. I dare say that everyone remembers the two of you - and that your (plural) presence at that Dragon added to the event.

There are many good people in Florida for you to join with in the enjoyment of your Mom's car. And you are CERTAINLY welcome at the Spring Dragon event (which I seem to be the leader of) as well.

My mom and dad both slipped into eternity 16 years ago and I am sure you are not quite yet "moved on" over her loss. My warmest wishes to you!

Thanks everyone for the warm introduction. My mom had asked me to join the Crossfire Forum and I am glad I did. Pizzaguy and Valk, you guys were so great at the Tail of the Dragon. My mom loved both of you and talked about you all the time. It was truly a wonderful experience to meet all the Crossfire owners and I am so glad I was able to go. I look forward to going to another! It will be good to get back to Florida. Ala-xfire, it would have been very nice to meet you while I was here in Alabama. Autumnmass and Carl Graham, nice to meet you.

Sorry to hear this. I really liked your Mom. She was really into the XF and having you there with her meant I lot to her. I could tell by the way she was showing you around. Life is just too short. Enjoy your new job and most of all enjoy the XF and the memories of your Mom.... Hopefully we will see you in the hills of TN soon....

Welcome Kathy. I'm sorry to hear about your mom. My dad has had Pulmonary Fibrosis for years now, I know what you went through. Enjoy the Crossfire.
