Please advise if there is a CROSSFIRE CLUB IN ATLANTA, GA.

Also, My Base Crossfire is a bit Sluggish from from dead stop.

club : send an IM to pizzaguy ( Mark lives in Cumming )
sluggish : if nothing is really wrong, there are a few options to increase HP/torque, in this order :
1. single CAI from needswings.com
2. 74mm throttle body upgrade from a 55 series MB
3. Eurocharged tune.
4. buy a house on a high mountain up in north Georgia and enjoy the acceleration when leaving each day.

I can understand why you are looking for more zip, if I still lived in Atlanta, I'd be looking too.

Familiar with the throttle reset? Sounds like that could be needed here..

And there is one left out.. Sprint Booster.. doesn't "add HP".. but accelerates the throttle body opening.. which translates to a quicker response..

And George.. did you draw those from a hat.. I don't see the "order" in your order.. unless you went backwards..

Not sure but I think I answered you elsewhere this morning.

Anyway....

The ATL / North Georgia bunch is really growing. We meet every 1-2 months and do it all: Dragon Runs, car shows, tech days, social days, etc.

Best way to keep up is Facebook - we have a page "Crossfires in the South" - we don't post there very much, but if something is being planned, we post it there.

I will TRY to post here, in the regional forum as well. Next meet will be, most likely right about the second weekend in July but I cna't say for sure. IT will be a tech day/ social meet. Fixing cars, swimming, cook out, etc.

In August we have a "North Georgia Waterfall Run" planned. Do not miss the Dragon on October, either. MANY of us are going.

I forgot I posted this here:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...alls-trip.html

But we will STILL meet in July for a social/swimming/eating/working on cars day - probably on Lake Lanier near Oakwood/Gainesville.

No Greg, that was the order I did mine in, probably not exactly right, but as funds allowed.
( We don't all have 16 jillion oil wells in our back yard )

Living in Oklahoma.. I wish they were in my back yard.. Free oil.. just keep those property rent checks coming.. LOL.

Just my personal thoughts.. and we know how those will vary.. LOL

Throttle body and Maf housing first..
Eurocharge tune
Cold air intake
House on a mountain

I just see that as the dollar to performance "value"..

Charlie lives down by you, he just did the TB mod - you should meet HIM. He goes by Kleito here, see post 7 in this thread,
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-4-2016-a.html
you can click on his name to send him a message.

The needswings intake is a DIY thing, Rob sells a very complete kit, from what I understand.

Best way to keep track of all of us is Facebook, you can meet us all instantly that way. I work in North Carolina these days, so I'm gone mon-fri most weeks. My sundays are tied up with family stuff so Saturday is all I have.

We have a meet coming up, probably in July but we MIGHT get together later in June. Just not sure.

Everyone in the thread is, for the most part, assuming your car is running fine - but as I read that again, I think of how my limited acted around 100,000 miles. How many miles on your car?

At around 100,000 miles, I put plugs and wires and a fuel filter/regulator on my car - and it became a new car, I'd not realized how poorly it was running.

Do you need mods or just maintenance items? How many miles on the car?

Running a can of Techron Complete Fuel System Clearer thru the car is probably a good idea. It did wonders for a M113 engine I have by clearing an EGR valve, it is easy as well as less expensive than the before mentioned mods.

I have 31000 miles.
Chrysler installed a new intake manifold at 20000 miles. The old one had slight cracks and performed a complete fuel system flush. They also replaced the oxygen regulator located behind the manifold at the fire wall.
You do live in Cumming?

The Atlanta folks schedule a 'tech day' about every other month, usually at Trish Bramblet's house on Lake Lanier. You should be able to get it done there.
