Default 15 year wait finally over!

So I just bought the exact car that I took for a cheeky test drive 15 years ago, pretending to be a high flying finance executive whilst actually being an unemployed surf bum! The wait has been worth it as I managed to knock a zero off the end of the new car price! A few owners and 73,000 miles of stop start driving on an island with a 40 mph speed limit have probably not been the kindest to this beauty but for £2,600 I still think it looks damn good!

Well if it' s a little abused, it wouldn't be as sacrilegious to bolt down a surfboard rack on top

Congratulations. Rare experience you are not likely to repeat.

I can relate. It took me 16 years to get my first TVR and about 30 for my first Stag but they were not the same exact ones. Close enough though.

I hope she serves you well.

Jersey is a delightful place to drive a Crossfire (except the 40 mph speed limit). My wife and I were there a couple of years ago and toured the island on a bus. The whole time I was imagining driving these roads in our Crossfire. Enjoy!
