Our's is rather unique, well built car, but not without a few common quirks (leaking trans connector, crank. position sensor failure, fan motor-recall, etc; & some quality control issues like poor soldering on the relay control module, mostly somewhat common for M/B @ the time). Oh & the power seat control relay, located below the steering column.
With good maintenance, I believe that the power train is pretty much bulletproof...and overall, still a BLAST to drive!

There may be a few here ("seniors" (?) like me) dedicated Crossfire owners/forum members, who may come across a bit forthright (shall we say) in their responses, perhaps in part because they have "heard it all" over the years. Rest assured that most, with patience, are more than willing/capable of providing valuable help/information, although thick skin may occasionally be required.
That makes two of you then, you admit to being a dumb *** in your signature. 😉
