Default Crossfire builds

Hello everyone, my name is Pat. Recently bought a crossfire from a buddy who had it in his Auto Shopfor over a year. Took my Truck In for tires and ended up, leaving with another car as well. First time I’ve ever seen a crossfire. I figured for the price, maybe I can start a project car And have some fun with it.

About a week after buying it, my new wheels And tires was on there. Staggered 19x10 and 18x8.5 35 offset , tires 255/35/19 and 225/40/18. Waiting on 1 inch spacers for the rear and half inch spacers for the front, and change out the wheel bolts for lugs.

Will be installing the audio upgrade this weekend. Door speakers 51KSC6504 coaxial 6.5” and 400w amp, (3) 8” subs Skarr and 1200w amp. Secondary battery and size up big 3 power cables as well.

any suggestions on tunes and what you currently or is in the process of getting done. Light up the thread!

good luck,, tried the studs a bout 14 years ago they didn't work then and they will not work today, because
\U only have 6 to 7 threads to work with, stay with lug bolts. the lug bolts on your new wheels ,,,stick i lug bolt
into the rim make sure it sticks through no more than 1/2" or it will hit the emergency brake cable and if U
have an older car it may hit anyway, my rear tires with stock rims are 275/35x19 so with your rim u can go
wider and taler just do not get a tire taller than26.7 tall it will rub on bumps and corners.
if U R not racing then spacers are ok but,, this car does not like spacers.
owner of the worlds fastest crossfire 10.55@132.just do not have drag slip but do have this one.

I don’t plan on doing any racing lol. A wide body would look really good for the crossfires, the wheels are already bolted on and runs great.I’m still looking into lowering suspension or coilovers, going to lower it a bit. Thank you for the heads up because I would’ve found out the hard way. Im still learning about this car and so far, I’m impressed.

As far as speed goes, I’m just looking for a tune and some bolt-ons. Nothing major. It’s either going to be a build for speed or a build for comfort. The speed option will dry my pockets up.
