thank you for allowing me to join. I just picked up a 6 speed crossfire and a 2006 clk 55 AMG. I’m planning to swap the NA V8 AMG into the 6 speed for a project. Interested in the do’s and don’ts, short cuts if any, list of parts needed. Links to a threads from previous forum members that have done the swap.
After the engine swap is complete, i will do a chassis swap. So I'm not worried about cutting to access. The crossfire body panels are being parted out and sold cheap. Available in Scottsdale.
Here’s the oil pan sets. Continuing down the rabbit hole with the pump. Included are some better pics why the crossfire pump wont work. I’m hoping the admin can delete this thread and i can start fresh.
Found this in google search. This is someone’s DIY work around to the situation. Not hating on it, just trying to avoid it and see if there’s a direct bolt on to my configuration.
