Default Lucked into a Crossfire, Now I'm Hooked

Lucked into a Crossfire, now I'm hooked,

it was the night before Christmas , I was scrolling for something and saw a Crossfire Roadster advertisement for sale, the price was right and I have other roadsters , so decided this would be a good fit with my other cars, and I'd always liked them, but being such a rare car it hadn't crossed
(excuse the pun) my mind, I thought and thought more about it..it has the orange/red interior and that combo sucked me straight in, ultimately, I decided to check it out. contacted the seller and viewed it the following day.

I did a test drive, and purchased it right away.

It needs some minor body work and has 112k

Now I'm thinking I might do some mods and find a way to get some enjoyment , even a little exposure with it.

The plan is preparation for Cars&Coffee morning events , and possibly some 1/8th mile (200m) short drags that are held every few months around here.

Thankyou for having me as a member, and Im sure the team here in the Crossfire Forum and Register will be useful to assist me in the future endeavours with this vehicle.

Regards Don.

Thankyou for the welcome guys.
I have a few tuning tools to assist and test some things.

I will be running my old Gtech Dyno to test 0-100s .

I want to measure improvements with the larger throtal body and other mods first and hopefully get it going a bit better N/A.

A Wide Band kit to keep on-top of air/fuel ratios and assist with a ECU tune which I'm going to have download because there's nobody around here , but I will know the AFR's so that will help whoever does a tune.
I plan to run some Exhaust Cutouts with the electric valves , and possibly run a X pipe in place of the rear cats to help it scavenging.

And I have a NOS fogger kit to drop in a nitrous shot for 1/8th drags, and that's really where I expect the car to preform better, I will spray a 75hp NOS shot but will up it to a 125hp if possible

I've only been here a short time, although I've been reading as much as possible, and it's a bit rude to make any suggestions or ask the forum,
but, given that these cars are getting older and now needing work, has the moderators considered doing a section for people who are restoring or customising their Crossfire? "Crossfire build section"
This would allow further dedicated documentation of the the cars being restored or modded.
This is the only crossfire forum in the world.
Sorry if this is rude..I just use to restore old cars and I always enjoyed reading everyone's input.

First of all welcome to the Crossfire Forum.
As one of the admins here, I don't find your question rude at all.
Although there are already many posts and threads here discussing restoring or customizing Crossfires for over more than 20 years it never to late to start.
I have created the section you recommended and hope it becomes a place where owners will go to discuss restoring or customizing their Crossfires going forward.
This section is now open in the "Technical' section here on the forum.

Crossfire build section
