Hey all! I've been a member of this forum for a hot minute and have popped in here and there for input/information, but have never really been active.
This forum has been a LIFESAVER over the last couple of weeks, and I have spent so much time looking for/finding information and advice on repairs. Long story short, my Crossfire decided to throw up a few codes over the last year, and that led to a potentially expensive repair bill which I was not prepared for.
With the help of this forum, I have been able to:
Figure out where my O2 sensors are and how to replace them
Figure out how to effectively disable the annoying TPMS light
Diagnose/repair the common RCM problem
Figure out how to remove and repair a fog light issue
Identify and repair a SKREEM issue (with the added bonus of being connected to Josh at MSS, who is AMAZING!)
...among SO many other things!
Seriously... I just wanted to express my thanks to all the members who have provided the information needed to accomplish all of this. I've truly never been very mechanically inclined, but with the help of this community (and a 10mm, 8mm, T-25, T-35 and plastic removal tool), I'm bringing my beloved 2004 Crossfire Coupe (named "Inara") back up to spec; I still have a couple of details to work out, though.
Once again, a sincere THANK YOU to all of the members and the community as a whole for being such a valuable resource!
Thank you! The backstory is amusing; a friend saw her when I first bought her (2014) and said "she's classy, but also really sexy... kind of like that character from the show "Firefly". And the name stuck. the ONLY bumpersticker (I'm not a fan) is a reference to this. It's placed under the rear spoiler and is visible when it's raised. Yours also has an amazingly suitable name!
This forum has helped me out quite a bit as well. So much in fact that I've been documenting any maintenance and repairs that I've done with "Svengoolie" to try and give back to our family of Crossfire owners.
There are a lot of talented and inventive people on here and I appreciate all that they do.

I would honestly be super lost (and BROKE) were it not for the information I've found on this forum. I've seriously utilized the information more over the past month than I have in literally a decade!

Love to hear this. Saving money and finding your way is exactly why were all here. Thanks for being part of the community, keep up that momentum.
