it sure is! here is the address.....321 Buschs Frontage Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401. we will leave the Wawa at 2:30 to drive to the crab deck. it should take about 15-20 minutes to get to the crab deck from the wawa.

Mobile1 0-40W you can find it at Wal-mart just under $7 per quart, you will need 7.5 quarts, we have been told by Crossfire Tech they made a mistake in owners manual says 8.5 quarts. Check dip stick after the 7.5 qt. have been added do not over fill. I found a deal at advance auto parts for an "AC Filter" about $11.00, sorry don't remember #.
In answer to other question yes WAWA @ 2:15 - 2:30 you can find address in this thread on page 50 near bottom.
See you at GTG

Mobil 0W-40 and the Mercedes filter only in mine.

i can get the filter from my local dodge/chrysler dealership for about $35. the oil is $6.50 at walmart and about $9 a quart at advance auto. you may be able to get the oil on sale, but i dont know of any sales going on this week. an oil change in the crossfire usually runs me about $119, but like i said i only use the Mercedes filter and mobil one.

Hi John. The address is: 321 Buschs Frontage RD. Annapolis, MD 21401

It's on the east bound side of route 50 heading east toward the bay bridge. Google it and you'll see you need to exit 50 onto Frontage road and the Wawa is down on the right. Meeting there around 2:15 to 2:30 and then training over the brigde to the Crab Deck. I may not be able to make this GTG. I'm still hoping too but I have 3 things going on which all are in separate directions and hours apart so I may have to wait for our next one. Enjoy if I don't see you.

Paul

Guys....8.5 quarts is correct!!!!! I'm not sure why everyone get's different stories on this. The manual is not wrong. 8.5 goes in mine and 8.5 comes out when I change it. The oil sensor and dip stick all agree with this.

Oil and filters can be had from many sources. Filters range from about 8 to 20 dollars depending on where you get them and what brand. I get my Mobile 0-40 (only thing I will use) on sale from Advance when they do the specials. 5 quarts and a filter for $32.00. It's a great deal. I buy 2 of the specials and have all the oil I need and keep the spare (which later after 8 purchases ends up with enough to do another change. As far as the filters, they keep stacking up. The store I go to allows me to switch out the mobile filter with a K and N filter or others as I desire. Since I get 2 filters included each time I can switch out the filter mid mileage and have a clean one more regularly installed (need to add a touch of oil when the filter comes out.

BTW - ADVANCE SALE IS GOING ON NOW!! $29.99 FOR 5 QUARTS AND A FILTER. I'D BUY MORE BUT I'M ALREADY UP TO 20 PLUS QUARTS AND 6 FILTERS IN STORAGE

Paul is correct almost........Mercedes Benz/AMG 3.2 Engines require 7.5 litres of motor oil to function properly PERIOD! The confusion is litres to quarts and whether your using the correct term at the correct time.....7.5 litres equals 7.93 quarts {or 8 US quarts}. CAVEAT: DO NOT OVER FILL A MERCEDES BENZ/AMG ENGINE.

I don't have the specs for the AMG engine but the specs for the 3.2 motor of the NA is 8.5 US Quarters with the oil filter which holds about a half a quart) or 8 litres (so 7.93 is pretty close to 8). Keep in mind, this is with a filter change. When I change my oil I change the filter. When I put 8.5 quarts in it is spot on with the dip stick and I have Never got a "HI" indicator with this amount. I have however gotten a "LO" when I've put in 8 or less. What ever you guys are comfortable with, but from my experience, reading the owners manual and checking sources at mercedes, the book is accurate. Maybe the qualifier is with a filter change. However, I don't know why anyone would change the oil and not change the filter. Here's to all our engines lasting 300K miles.

I'd go with 25 we can always take away chairs harder to add, put reservation under the name Crossfires of Maryland incase anyone goes directly to Crab deck instead of WAWA.
See everybody there.

ok called them, they dont take reservations. the lady said just gather up everyone and they will put us all together. if anyone drives straight to the crab deck, and gets there before the rest of us, ask for a table for 25. if we show up with less we can let them know.
