BTW, thanks to Chas and David E. for the loan so I could purchase the Chrysler Crossfire Sign from the Detroit Autoshow. I still can't believe I happened upon this find......... It will be hung in my garage where the Crossfire is parked

Here's a picture of it. It's not hung up yet. I'll post another when it's hung in it's proper place.

cool!! when did you get that sign?

also some of you were asking about the Annapolis car show. here is the information.

The Annapolis Car Show

they are still taking registrations, so there must still be some spots. the dealership supplies free food, and beverages (soda, water).

I think we already have 4 or 5 crossfires attending. I didnt think there would be any interest so i didnt post anything.

We will look into a meeting spot soon, so we can all park together.

Thanks for the info on the Annapolis car show

are other Crossfire owners planning to enter their cars in the show?

I just sent in the pre registration form, will see if there are any more spaces

We live in Annapolis and it would be great to meet up with other Crossfire owners.

it would be fun to enter the car in the show, but either way, me and my wife hope to be there

I know your head is so BIG after 8 in a row, this could help keep you grounded.
For all that did not come to show you missed out on a lot of laughter, and will not get the joke above.
All in good fun congrats Chas...
Thanks Dave, looks just like what a SECOND PLACED CLASS PARTICIPANT with brand new SRT6 mats would post. Kudos to all the COM members for stepping up and making the weekend a success and fun, especially with the cookout (Dave E.'s salad would beast as usual and the links (minus the "red chicken dogs" were awesome) and setting up on both nights. It was great to see the crew at work and meet new owners.

let me talk to my neighbor this weekend and get a better idea on the traffic. we are all preregistered so we dont have to be there early to get dash plaques. Im thinking we need to be at the show around 10am, give us an hour to clean and set up. i think Erin and I got to the show last year around noon and there was still alot of room for visistors to park.

I got a call from the company Bath Fitter. they have been to several car related events in the area, im sure you guys have seen them. They want to set up a table at our show. i said it wouldnt be a problem. We discussed a vendor fee, and i advised him that we had not talked about a vendor fee, the food supplier just donated based on sales. the rep suggested sending the club a check for $50 to apply to the charities. i said that was perfect. They are self containted, will need an area about the size of a car. So Dave be on the lookout for a check from them.

Sounds great I say we put them next to the Acura Dealership.

Sonnds good. I've been hoping we could start doing this type of thing and having a vendor fee since the onset of our planning. Let's aee if we can find more opportunities going forward next go round.

yes, I think if anything comes up between now and then regarding vendors we will for sure look into it. When we begin planning for next year we can include a vendor area, prices, etc.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the Bath Fitter people heard about us at Carlisle. So either they got a flyer, or heard about the show via word of mouth, either way, nice job everyone.

Also theres a guy raflling off his 66. Vette for the Church. He is going to register and I told him feel free to sell raffles on his car at the show. I'm going to the mt airy jimmy c ok ne cruise in tomorow to pass out more.

So our show is only a couple weeks away. I haven't seen anything about a preshow meeting so I guess we have everything done and all jobs are manned? What time are we meeting at the winery?

Hi Ichon

it's an 04 coupe in sapphire silver blue
but no, that wasn't me
must have been some other lucky guy ;^)
the car show people didn't send me a invoice, so I guess they don't want me in the show ;^(
so I will just park it in the lot
cheers
