Adhesive issues with convertible rear window

Default Adhesive issues with convertible rear window

The adhesive on about a 3" section of the rear window appears to be coming unglued (not completely yet). I know that this problem does exist but I thought is was earlier versions of the crossfire and the STS version. Mine is a 2008. So does anyone know a repair shop in the Delaware area? Can I use super glue as an attempt to repair it? I'd appreciate anyone with knowledge on this problem.

I ended up replacing my window with a plastic one from a boat/canvas installer; nothing I tried would hold the window in place.

2 years later still holding fine.. Complete window glued back in.. Along with bottom and sides done for a local about a month after doing mine..

The 3M08609 is an excellent repair. There are "if's" and "but's". The fold in the canvas must be good, and the 3M product will not hold if the fold comes loose. Make sure the fold is in place and glued good. Mine came loose and I tried several things to glue it. The only thing I found that would hold it was "Rhino Glue". Once I got the fold glued in place the 3M held it very well. I did this last summer and it it still good and very tight.

Hmm.. the "fold" was loose on mine.. I used the 3M there.. then the bead on the glass all at the same time.. your gluing glass to canvas so why wouldn't it hold canvas to canvas ?
