Sounds like a good deal, especially if you're driving up with a bunch of vipers...

You can consider me "planning" as of now.

EXCELLENT... THANK YOU AL...
My wife will be in Washington State visiting her mom, I'm not sure if I could stay overnight without boarding our Schnauzer. She sleeps with us in our bed so I don't want her to end up awake all night with us not being there!

Cool Re: Chrysler Nationals

REDCROSS are me to your list. Haven't been up North since the Mountain run in '04.
Not completely certain at this point, but I'll sign up now. I plan on stopping over in Atlantic City for a day or so before, maybe I could hook up with some of you Jersey XF'ers for the trip down to Carlisle. Keep me posted, know of a good hotel near Carlisle, I imagine its gets crowded and need to make a reservation ASAP.

EXCELLENT!!!
Yes, it HAS been a while since we cruized last. Glad you can make it.
As far as the Hotel goes...I think some of the "Jersey" folks will be the best contact for you. I don't plan to spend the night (at present), but things could change.
I might even "sleeping bag" it at the last minute!!!

I made reservations at the Comfort Inn West for the 8th of July. Have never stayed there so I don't know how it is. But it is only one night. Got it from the link on the Carlisle web site.

I checked all over. Carlisle City Web site Expedia, Hotels.com and even went to the Hotel Chains web site - Hampton Inn and couple of others. There are several available in Harrisburgh but almost nothing in Carlisle. I'll give them a call maybe someone will cancel.
June is still a long time off and I'll keep checking.

For those who might like to know, "lowest" rates ranged from a Low of $54 per night to $220 in the Harrisburgh Area on Hotels.com
