Talking Re: Get Together in Portland Oregon at Timberline Dodge

To all of you that showed up at Timberline Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Thanks, you made it a great show. My nephew took pictures and as soon as he sends them to me I'll post for everyone to see. Incidently, now his wife wants a Crossfire, so Timberline is looking for them.

We'll work to set a date for a trip to the Beach, maybe Long Beach Washington-they have some great Clam Chowder and then maybe back over to Seaside? What would be some good dates?

Those concerns were definitely put to rest at the get together. The folks at Timberline were very well informed and customer service oriented. I did not get a chance to speak to you in person after the get together because I had to rush back to work. I just wanted to thank you for setting everything up.

We (I) didn't get to make it to the meeting so, I am curious as to what was said about competent certified techs. I know that the ones that I had dealt with at the Hannah dealership were either not competent with the issues that I had with my car when I first purchased it, or they just thought I was a stupid female. Would it be better for me to take it to Timberline for any furture issues if they arise? Just asking. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

If I recall correctly they had 3 certified Techs and 1 "Tech in Training." They claimed they had 50 Xfires they had in for regular maintenance, and there were at least 6 people in the meeting who had their Xfires maintained there and vouched for Timberline's competence. I just bought mine 6 weeks ago from Town & Country and was concerned about where to take it for maintenance. I plan on taking mine to Timberline.

We purchased ours from Timberline in December 2006 and have had it serviced there all along. Great folks and they know the cars.

Hi Guys; that sounds like a lot of fun. I can't make it any of those dates. But I was thinking that don't at least half of the folks have Roadsters like myself ?... if thats the case why not wait till later in June so we can drive with the tops DOWN ! and not worry about rain. Keep in mind that whenever we do this it will draw a crowd when we stop.
Just my thoughts. Tony

STOP, why would we stop? Weren't we going for a DRIVE? I am going to China May 10-16 and for a vacation drive with my grandson in June(12-19) to MT, WY, CO and home. Let me know what you come up with for a date. I would love to join you if I can.

I've been away from the site since November.... sorry-I went into a motorcycle frenzy for awhile. Anyway, I'm into going for a ride this spring/summer. Being a Mopar nut, I'm sorry I missed the Timberline meet. They used to have an outstanding Mopar meet there. My 04 is in the shop due to contact with a raccoon (took out left foglight) but will be ready in a week. I'm also having a new hood put on as they can't fix a rock ding. I didn't know the hood was aluminum!!! The insurance is picking up the whole tab, so I'd rather have a new hood anyway. I promise to keep checking the site! Drive safe. Joe
