Wanted to pass on my POSITIVE experience with this one-man outfit:

Did all-round tinting for my wife's E-class wagon over the weekend and am very pleased with the workmanship. 35% front and rear sides and back. 2.5h total wait time, $200 + tax. The tints were standard, with some metallic content. If worried about AM interference, there are also non-metallic films which are a little higher in price. For the same brand of film and tint %, I was quoted $475 at a shop in Bellevue.

He also has HID sets (German origin) all stacked up in his small office (4000-10,000K), and lots of pictures of client vehicles pre- and post-installation. Quoted $190+tax installed on the wagon. Very tempting indeed!

Where can I find that in seattle repair shops? I've been in seattle for 3 years and looking for a nice repair shop to send my car if in case it got a problem. Can you send me their information?

 

I'm pretty sure he uses the same HID kits that can be found on ebay for $30

also skyline is really overpriced, although I've heard good things

I find a good list of best auto repair shops at automd.com and send my car in Alliance automotive excellence. They do the HID installation service. I have no problems and looks great until now. If you need a reference here are some in seattle shops.
