rear window shape and the strong rear shoulders are definitely along the same lines as our cars. i hope they build it!

The Maybach Exelero is just a one-off built for Fulda Tyres. You can read up on it at the Maybach site: http://www.maybach-manufaktur.com/index.htm .
All I can say is thats one sexy car for testing tyres, but it would be nice to see this in limited production.

I saw this car 'in the metal' at Hockenheim last year. They ran it round the GP circuit before the race. To be honest I think it looks a lot better in the pictures! IMO it looks a bit too stretched out from the side. I snapped this pic while they were waiting to join the circuit - a bit grainy as I had to use a long lens!

EDIT - found this one as well:

Now you mention it I do remember the Green Hornet (vaguely!) Didn't the car revolve upside down in the garage, or I am thinking of something completely different?
google is wonderful... http://www.the-black-beauty.com/gree...t-history2.cfm

its funny when i posted the pic, your post wasn't there! now it is! screwed up cookies i guess.
when the car is not in use, it is kept under Reid's garage floor, suspended upside down from steel clamps. with the push of a button, the floor flips, and the car is right-side-up and ready for action.
