Thanks

For the srt6 I have the following planned to start:

hyperblack wheels
alcohol injection
ecu tune (add timing for the alcohol inj)
drag radials
185mm pulley
20% tint

and I am sure many additional things to come

You posted your Hyundai on the wrong model specific forum with no explination of why. Then when someone calls you on it...

And you didn't think that would **** someone off? Seriously?

I would question the same of someone posting a modified Hyundai on a Crossfire forum and expecting the members to fellate you like foriegn appliance enthusiests... and I'm 22.

I actually like the car because it's clean and different. But don't act like "custom" or "forced induction" are things a Crossfire owner can't figure out... because a lot of us have been there and done that with faster, more capable, and more unique cars than your Korean calendar queen.

I hope we understand each other. And again, nice car.

Let us know what route you take for the ecu tune, the market is somewhat limited. And I wouldn't suggest spraying alcohol (a less efficient fuel) until you verify you have a detonation problem to benefit from correcting. You stand to gain more running street fuel and concentrating your efforts on better charge air cooling.

Also watch out for the traction control, and if you disable it, the lack of a mechanical LSD. It could ruin your day... or at least your launch.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

hhmm.. Nice ride. Have you thought about waiting for the Genesis Coupe to be available and mod that? I think that with the power of the Genesis Coupe, adding mods to it would make it one heck of a dragster.... And its not much more money than a usd SRT6.

The Genesis Coupe is going to be sweet. It was also designed by the designer of our cars - Eric Stoddard. Pretty cool.

It was a great car indeed, it was soo light, had a bit of a tendancy to understeer when on the throttle and have snap overtseer on lift off. But other then that it was a great little handler. Porsche tuned suspension FTW.

Nice blown tib! It's good to see you took a rather clean approach to modding a car that comes from the factory pretty close to perfect in the looks department. It's pretty rare for me to see any modded Tibs, so thanks for posting the pics.

Beautiful Pics....

I'm 28 and recently had TVT install my Johnson Pump.
Oh and I helped my Dad change a tire once....

Pretty impressive I know. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

BTW- The car I changed the tire on was a Volvo.

I used to be on RDTiburon.com, I ordered clear corners from them 4 years ago and was kind of happy with their service. I heard their service is going down though.

Im not trying to bash anyone, im just wondering. Why take a slow car and put money and time into it? My friend had an 04 tiburon and the thing was painfully slow stock. But why not take something like a camaro and put the same amount of time and money to get a beast.

Little boy, I was about to ask you about the same thing and your painfully slow crossfire with no muffler on it that you are wanting to "change the color on" and "put a supercharger on it". Why not take something like a camaro and put the same amount of time and money to get a beast? Little boys like you which are uneducated other than what you read in F&F magazines and from other little boys with no mechanical knowledge or skills whatsoever? Wow little boy you must have been bored last night to bump up such an old thread about a car that is significantly faster than what you own. That is really funny little boy, did mommie let you stay up late last night little boy? The little feller was up late wasn't he! Wow he sure is growing up fast, I bet mama is proud of her little boy.

Mrphotoman...Love that car! Cant understand why people get worked up over a hyundai being posted in the OTHER CAR thread!? I love the fact that you have the vision and apitude to create something so awsome. The tiburon and crossfire actually are quite simular in that they are both beautiful yet somewhat shortchanged in the HP.

Kudos for a fine job and getting it in magazines too.

Thanks man, I asked the mods to lock this since there are a few narrow minded members here. If you notice, the members that bash other cars never mod their own for either show or speed and are incapable of turning their own wrenches. I guess when you are narrow minded and do not have the aptitude or vision to try something different all you are left with is a narrow mind and bitterness towards those that can achieve something. I would post up a few accomplishments that this former car of mine made but there is no need to all they have to do is check out the pics/vids. I also formerly did a frame up restoration of a 1970 corvette with a built 454 and over 600whp. but i am sure that is just as silly as the tib too lol.

Kagen post up photos/videos/achievements of your beast of a crossfire so we can compare. I am sure what you have accomplished with your crossfire is quite impressive.
