What part of the listing description are we to believe? it seems to be a classic half truth. Or typical Ebay marketing BS. You and others say they are aluminum so that seems to be the case, and as you perceive there is no way in hell this item is 'billet" as described in the listing. Yet people buy them (I'm sure for other cars also) and they are OK with not being as described. Or they simply don't know. Or they see billet and they have to have it.
If they were billet they could miter the ends of the horizontal bars to make them match the taper of the grille opening. But they don't because they're not billet. And no I don't have one to look at. I don't have one because . . . they are garbage for shmucks.

 

Or cheap bait to bring out the shmucks who dwell on every word in an add with no reality clue..
