Another thread that should be closed, no one can read farther than the thread title. This is like lining up outside a store not knowing if the store is even open because you are a long way away from the door.
The seller said the car was sold years ago, and last replied to a request from a buyer four years ago.

I was under the understanding that SOS Diagnostics could do that? On their web site they say if your SKREEM is bad (hardware) they can hook you up with a working one and match it to your ECM.
This is an excerpt from an email quote they sent me a few days ago:
What you can expect:
We will test and reprogram your parts as necessary and then test run them in our Crossfire test vehicle to make sure the car starts. The turnaround time is generally 1 week for this service. Any necessary repairs will be approved by you before we complete them and bill you.
Common issues (costs include the $195 setup fee)
Corrupted software - $650 (lifetime warranty on programming)
Faulty key - $285 for the 1st key $90 for each additional (aftermarket non-remote keys)
Faulty ECM - $935 (includes refurbished ECM w/ 1yr exchange warranty for defective parts)
Faulty SKREEM - $505 (includes refurbished SKREEM w/ 1yr exchange warranty for defective parts)
Am I missing something? How can they sell you a refurbished SKREEM if they can't program it to your car? Not trying to argue, just trying to understand as I may be sending my stuff to them.
Thanks - RL

I saw the people /shop you are talking to, but didn’t see any proof that they accomplished it. Hopefully they do, good luck 👍🏼
