I'm looking for an antenna and rubber mounting ring for my 05 Crossfire convertible .

Or if someone can direct me to a parts store that would be great too.

What do you think about the short after market ones.?

 

This VW antenna base gasket is pretty darn close. It looks almost perfect. I think there's a link somewhere where someone else recommended this. I bought it back in July. It's a very tight fit and I never got the front edge to go completely flush. But it looks pretty good. I might use some black latex caulk to run a little bead around the front edge. (My car is black). Otherwise, I'm happy with this one until I find an original-style part. 10 bucks for it isn't too bad. Click on the link below to go to amazon.

 

Sorry, I only mentioned the antenna base gasket. I had bought a replacement screw-in antenna off of amazon, too. Just search for antenna for Crossfire. I don't see the 8-inch one that I bought. But there's a 16 inch one that's probably closer to the original. (OK....stand-by for comments about "size matters"!)
