I have 2 different after market antennaes that I use, see pics below. I switch back and forth as the mood hits, no radio distortion or signal loss from either.
CTD - Germany comes with 3 different shafts about $32.00 US
Hi there! I realize this is a pretty old post but does anyone have a more updated suggestion for a radio antenna with a low profile? My stock antenna is in pretty bad shape. Also, my srt6’s color is aero blue Thanks in advance!
bump for a new solution, got a customer needing a new base, anyone got one for sale?
If you mean the gasket then someone said a VW one fitted perfectly. If it is the main body then a look at the old one should give a number to try. These parts are off the shelf items if you know where the shelf is. LOL
These have been discussed before . . . The problem is that the connector is different that what is needed to hook up on our Crossfires. There is no (easy) way to change the connector. Anybody have the answer??
I'm new to the forum and the Crossfire car itself and I'm looking for some advice.
The gasket on my antenna base is cracked and I was looking at a VW Jetta gasket. It looks like the gasket is a little thicker than the Chrysler. Has anyone ever used one to replace the original?
I've included some pictures.
I just got this from ebay. I haven't put it on yet, but it looks like the correct gasket. It comes with a 9 inch antenna, but I'm using the standard 16 inch antenna on my car.
@type dougie Sorry, I still haven't put it on yet. I'm stock piling parts for winter. I'll be living in my garage until spring replacing parts LOL.
It looks like the original and the seller, lightning-fast-crossfire-parts, has 100% feedback. He sells mainly Crossfire and SLK parts.
All of his feedback comments indicate that it is correct. If you click the link and scroll to the bottom you can read them.
