Hey Pete, where were you last summer when we were in ABQ shooting a movie ? I rented Sandia on July 4th and had the track to myself... Here's some video... PS beware of that darn lip at the end of the front straightaway.

HDDP,
Last 4th? Humm Colorado it was.
I had my first FUN run yesterday up to the top of the mountains here in Albuquerque and I was not disappointed by my SRT, I was pleasantly surprised how well it ran.
I have many hours of track time @ Sandia in my fast Z. My time averages around 1 minute and 38 seconds. My true test of the SRT will be how my time changes compared to that.
What mods have you made to your XF? What would you recommend?
Have an awesome weekend
Pete
P.S. How about those track prices! Nice.

If you're going to track the car, here's a laundry list. Unfortunately not much in the aftermarket for the car. Upgrade the OEM shock with K&W adjustable coil overs. get the camber kit and do the standard road course set-up with minus camber front and rear, front toe out.
Extrude Hone the intake and exhaust manifold (porting and polishing) Split the exhaust into a true dual exhaust and remove the cats, but keep the O2 sensor and adapt it so it does not insert fully into the pipes.
Build a CAI that will increase air flow to the SC.
Have the car chipped for 93 octane and FAM (advanced timing)
As far as Sandia... At the off ramp, instead of turning left to go over the freeway to get to the track, take a right and head out towards the private airport. There's a very long stretch of (straight) road that you should be able to top speed the car at 155...
