Launch Control?
Every once and a while, we have start at an autocross that is foot-to-the-floor straight. In Previous solo cars, (mostly big V8/automatics) I would hold the brakes and feed a bit of throttle until torque converter flash and then bury the throttle and lift the brake to take off.
My question is how do you autocrossers launch with the autostick? How much throttle/brake will the ecu allow before interfering?
As and update, I've now done three solos, all local. I've had two firsts and a second place finish and am now in first place in points. And before anyone asked, yes it is a undersubscribed class here in the land of Oz.

Your best bet is to just hold the brake and the gas and let off the brake since you have the slushbox.
At the Prosolo in Washington DC that both myself and Nocones attended we were using the only thing I can call a blessing that Chrysler gave us and that is the 4,200 rpm limiter in neutral. A Prosolo has a dragstrip style christmas tree start that launches out into an autocross course so getting off the line is key. Basically the lot there is the only place I have had enough grip to use 4,000 rpms without just sitting and spinning the tires.
My starts consisted of staging then depress clutch, put into first gear and put the gas to the floor and the computer holds the rpms at 4,200 or so. It made the whole affair of launching a bit easier.
