Brian,

Not to jump off topic, and this may need to be a new thread, but how excatly to you "clamp" the IAT & ECT sensor and what result would this net?

As the Intake Air Temps and Engine Coolant Temps rise, the ECU begins to pull timing to protect the engine, thus slower 1/4 mile times. These sensors are really nothing more then resistors that change the signal as temps rise and fall. By replacing the sensor with a fixed (or variable) resistor you can clamp the signal to a constant level - thus the clamp tells the ECU that the IAT is always 70* (or what ever you choose) and not pull timing regardless of how hot the temps get.

It's OK racing short distances - not good for long distances - unless you have a separate IAT sensor/gauge and monitor the temps manually.

Thank Brian! I wonder how much that 104 Gas and 30 Shot of N20 had to do with that timeslip

LSD? Our car doesn't come with a LSD?

Well, there's the Phantom Grip. I think that's it. Quaife's don't work in our cars.

Do a search here for quaife. Quite a few good threads.

And it's downhill as long as the track points south.

What times did you get newcrossfire? we all know SRT-6s are fast it's more interesting when a N/A starts pulling awsome times. I was thinking of doing the tune and injectors, I'm guessing low 14's high 13's maybe??

Its hard to believe that just over a year ago, there was only one SRT6 running low 12’s. Now, 12.2 seems to be the average time for these cars. I can not wait until the next “break through” and we start seeing all these low 12’s turn into low 11’s on the motor!

no you won't be anywhere near 13's with those mods, crackin into the 14's will prove harder than you think. i still don't see how these magazines ran 14.7.

i had probably the most agressively tuned n/a crossfire on this forum and ran a 14.8. i don't know what the injectors are doing, maybe allows you guys to run leaner, but fully modded on a base running a 14.4 would be an accomplishment i think.

btw, my 60' was 1.1, which is pretty damn good considering i was on all seasons, so it wasn't my driving. and i dyno'd pretty high.

Phantom grip builds 2-way? wow, that's a little too much for my daily driver.
