WOW!! - That will place you at #14 on Dragtimes.

With that 1/8 mile time/speed - you get that belt slip issue taken care of and you'll easily bust into the top 10.

WoW - fantastic time - those Nitto's hook up well - how are they for an overall street tire; cornering etc...?

They are pretty sticky when the track is prepped well. On the street they do ok from a low roll, but you can't do a full out launch. In the corners are where they really shine.

SRTpowa,
Great times...I will get my belt wrap kit and go back and see if I can get into the 11's... I am using MT ET street DR's. They sure fixed the launching and spinning problem...

Thanks! I really liked those GS-D3's. Unfortunately, I recently replaced them and they don't make them in a wider width I wanted. I have 19x9.5 rims in the rear, and the 255's were stretched. Didn't like the look and had no rim protection. Widest they make now is 265.

I went with the new Hankook Ventus K110 in a 295 width (235 in the front). These look soooo much better and my car rides a lot better too, but the extra weight has added about a .1 to my 60' times. I've only been to the track once since putting them on and could only manage 1.9x 60's on a day when Mimi05SRT6 was getting 1.8x He does run Nitto drag radials, but the GS-D3's always peformed about the same as his Nittos (with good track prep). I also need to figure out how much of a burnout to do with the new tires.

Oh well, that's the price you pay I guess. I might be able to get to the track one more time this year to verify. Otherwise, testing will have to wait 'til the new year.

I added my drag time at dargtime.com also, its from a year agon when I had one shot of NOS. But the limeslip below was not a valid format, its JPEG so it should have worked.

I don't understand how Jeff's son can run that #1 fastest time with NO naaawwws........as stated above.

PS I ran 11.84@117.56 with a 1.76 60' here in Las Vegas with a 1300DA and NO spray of any kind(naaaawwwws or meth).

Is your time on street tires Tom?
That's what I ran (2008) at the West Coast Shootout on street tires (no traction).

That's about right with all the p/p work he has done. He was still getting it all dialed in with tuning after having all the work done. Even then was running 11.50's and that wasn't in negative DA. DT estimates DA at 464' for this pass. That's very possible with a 100 octane tune, and I don't doubt if he hasn't taken to the 109 octane route. There is still another three tenths left in -1500 da. Also factor in he may be lighter. I have my daughter making passes in a slower car to get the experience. She was able to best my ET in that car by .40 less. Wait till she runs the xfire.

Also factor in he may be lighter. I have my daughter making passes in a slower car to get the experience. She was able to best my ET in that car by .40 less. Wait till she runs the xfire.

Light kid or not, Jeff was trapping 10mph less with NO naaaawwws. I figured it was just a typo(meant to say Naaawws instead of NO Naaawwwss) and wanted to poke at it. I know how important a variable the DA is...............but it's still not gonna give you 10mph in trap. I don't know anything about his setup so if he can trap 130mph in a SRT-6 without sipping on a bottle then I definately bow down to the master.
