Default Video from my last night at the track

My buddy made a little compilation(sp) of my runs and my friends' runs from the last open track night. Everybody made personal best runs that night as it was a cool 74* and the DA was a measly 3500. Here's the cars you need to cheer for...SSB Crossfire, Black SRT-4, Red Camaro and Silver SRT-4. Enjoy.

That's a great video! The SRT6 was probaby the nicest car out there, even if it wasn't the fastest.

I'm normally not a big Camaro fan, but that one is ****!

The black SRT-4 surprised me getting the jump on the Viper, LOL

Nice run in the X, too

Wow, that was amusing! I raced an 11 sec Camaro 2 weeks ago, with a 150 shot, and it was great getting a jump on him and beating him in the 1/8, after that he flew by me. My reaction time was like a .03 to his .13 .
My car should be at least in the mid 12's when I get my ECU back from Jerry at LET.

Very nice. Jeremy's Camaro isn't one to mess with as it looks near stock when he's driving on the street...but when he takes off only then can you hear the jet engine sounding remote mount rear turbo beast at its finest. 10.2 is his current PB and hopefully he'll squeeze a 9.9 out of it here come December and 50* track temps.

Cool video! The only thing I saw that I would try and correct is your burnout. You are too far into the water when you start it. Pull up so that your rear tires are just past the end of the waterbox. Other than that, great runs!

Yeah; I can't see the water at all...just let the linesman tell me when to stop. I usually heat them up real quick and then let them keep spinning for a few feet going forward until they grab the dry ground. On that first pass in the video I managed my personal best 60' of 1.81. I'm gonna try a nice smokey burnout next time to see if there will be any difference in 60'. Hoosier says they don't need much but I expect better 60's than low 1.8's.

Yeah, I hear you. A lot of times, the linesman don't really know what to do. Atco has a great crew there and they really know what is going on so I trust them when they pull me up. If you are unsure, you can always open the door, lean out and look where the water stops. That is what I do sometimes. A 1.81 60 is good and you will do better once you get the technique down. I run hoosiers on my race cars and yes, a shorter burnout is all you need with those! As soon as you start to see smoke, let go of the brake and ride it out until you feel the "catch" of the tires. 1.7's 60's are in your future! lol
