Newb needs drag racing advice
I was launching around 1800rpm and I eased off the throttle a bit until I was in 2nd.
So I've gone to the strip 2 more times since and I haven't been able to get back down to 15.5. It's just been more humid here than usual I guess. I finally got a membership with the drag strip here so I'll probably be doing a few more runs.
I was talking to a guy at the hobby shop on base here which is a garage that we can work on our cars for $5/hr and they have every tool in the world. Well turns out I haven't been able to hook on because they mounted one of my tires backwards.
Another variable for slower times I found out while I was talking to the guy at the shop, the strip here is so cheap to run on because they don't use VHT, so the strip is a lot slicker than in the states which greatly affects times.

So I feel a little retarded asking this, I've tried to turn off the ECS but pushing the button on the center console and the light on the dash doesn't come on. I watched one guy with an auto simply put his in park and push the button. Is there a different order when in the 6sp? Or is my switch possibly broken?

Shouldn't be different...
